Interior renderings for the Pelech Boys Beit Midrash in Jerusalem. A modern study and prayer space design.

The Challenge

M.S. Arazim Engineering Ltd. requested interior renderings for the Pelech Boys Beit Midrash in Jerusalem. The challenge was to visualize a spacious study and prayer space that combines contemporary design language with traditional elements, suitable for both fundraising and construction planning.

The Solution

We produced a series of interior renderings presenting the Beit Midrash in all its layers. The main hall is presented as an open, well-lit space with a natural wood ceiling featuring longitudinal beams and recessed LED light strips between them, creating a sense of warmth and monumentality. The Torah ark is a central sculptural element — a curved wooden wall with flowing organic lines, concealed lighting that highlights the texture, a curtain with a wave pattern, and a flame symbol above. The study bench rows are made of light wood with blue upholstery, arranged in long rows. Illuminated holy book cabinets are recessed into the walls. The entrance to the hall is marked by ornate arched doors with geometric wooden mashrabiya in light wood — a pattern of interlocking diamonds and triangles — creating a semi-transparent partition. Throughout all the renderings, natural light from narrow windows blends with warm artificial lighting to create a dignified and inviting atmosphere.
