HaNarkis Street Development, Tel Mond

The Challenge

The Economic Company for the Development of Tel Mond sought to present to residents and planning committees the upgrade plan for HaNarkis Street. The existing street required a complete redevelopment of sidewalks, lighting, planting, and infrastructure — and the challenge was to illustrate the dramatic transformation between the current state and the proposed plan, including the presentation of the atmosphere during both day and night hours.

The Solution

We collaborated with Shai Eilon Architecture|Design|Landscape on the production of 8 renderings along the street from various vantage points. The renderings present the upgraded street with wide stone-paved sidewalks, mature shade trees along the road, well-maintained planting beds with shrubs and flowers, and designer street lighting on low poles. The daytime renderings highlight the green vegetation, sidewalk paving, and the interface between the street and adjacent residential homes. The nighttime renderings showcase the new lighting system in action — warm, soft light from the lighting fixtures creates a homey and safe atmosphere, with walking paths and vegetation accentuated by indirect light. The renderings were built based on photographs of the existing conditions, which allowed the client to present a convincing before/after comparison.
